Lizhong Wheel Group has established 1 national enterprise technology center, 5 provincial enterprise engineering technology centers, 2 national certification laboratories and 1 post-doctoral innovation practice base, undertaken many national and provincial projects such as the National "863" Program, international scientific and technological cooperation and the transformation of major scientific and technological achievements, presided over and participated in the drafting of 15 national and industrial standards, and obtained more than 500 patents and more than 100 scientific and technological achievements.

All the companies of Lizhong Wheel Group have passed the international certification on environmental system, quality system, information security, occupational health and energy management according to ISO standards, as well as the certification according to regulations of the major automobile producing countries in the world.

STNM mainly has 300 kinds of products, covering 4 categories of functional master alloys including grain refiners, metallographic modifiers, elements additives and metal purification products, as well as special aerospace master alloys. The products are widely used in the fields of automobile, high-speed rail, aerospace, electric appliances, consumer electronics, industrial Al profiles, food and pharmaceutical packaging, etc. and are sold all over the world.

STNM has established 8 technical R&D platforms, including Hebei Strategic Emerging Industry Base, Hebei Aerospace Metal Materials Technology Innovation Center, Hebei Engineering Research Center of New Functional Master Alloy Materials, Baotou Rare Earth R&D Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Brunel University Joint Research Center, Sweden Research Laboratory, etc., undertaken the National "863" Program, national and international scientific and technological cooperation projects and provincial key achievement transformation programs, presided over the drafting of the national standard Aluminum Hardeners (GB/T 27677-2017), and obtained 17 patents for innovation, 58 patents for utility models and more than 50 proprietary technologies. The technical R&D strength of STNM has been consistently in the leading position in the industry.

The LiPF6 and LiFSI of this project will ease the supply shortage of lithium ion battery materials of new energy vehicle clients, and the by-products of these products will synthesize inorganic fluoride salt products, which are the key raw materials of functional master alloy, effectively ensuring the stable quality of STNM products and supply of key raw materials. At the same time, the production capacity of NaF (electron level) of this project will be taken as the technical reserve for the sodium ion battery materials to realize the industrial chain layout.
